Help! What are these black boxes and how do I get rid of them?!
The dreaded black boxes occasionally appear around images when printing from an Apple product (phone, Mac, etc.) or when printing from a web based PDF reader.
The good news is that the fix is pretty simple (phew!)!
Here are the steps to follow to get rid of those ugly black boxes:
Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of Adobe installed on your computer. Adober Reader is available free here.
Save the file that you want to print to your computer.
Open the Adobe application on your computer.
Open the file you wish to print from within the Adobe application (not the web version, but the desktop version).
Print a test page from the file.
This should do the trick! If not - the other option is to choose "print as image" in your printer settings.
