Uppercase Printing Primer Cards | 26 Lined Tracing Cards
Practice uppercase manuscript printing with these illustrated primer cards featuring guided letter formation and writing lines. Each alphabet card shows the stroke path alongside a picture, bringing sound recognition and handwriting into the same simple activity.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
• 26 lined primer cards, one for every uppercase alphabet letter A–Z.
• A letter formation model with start, pause/change-direction and stop markers.
• An illustrated picture for each letter, allowing vocabulary and sound conversations; the /x/ sound is illustrated at a word ending where appropriate.
• Practice lines that help children see relative letter placement.
HOW TO USE
Introduce a few uppercase letters with related formation patterns. Model each stroke from the indicated start marker, pause where indicated, and finish at the red endpoint. Children can finger-trace first, use a reusable writing surface next, and later write the letters on separate ruled paper. Pair uppercase and lowercase sounds as an extension.
SKILLS SUPPORTED
Uppercase letter recognition, stroke sequence, letter–sound links, fine-motor control, visual tracking and foundational handwriting confidence.
PRINTING & PREPARATION
Print the lined cards on bright white cardstock and cut along the printed guide lines. Laminate or protect the cards for reusable dry-erase tracing, or start with finger tracing before adding pencil work.
